Civil Rights and Multicultural Cooperation

As I was channel suffering this past Saturday morning I came across this interesting panel, discussing the different cultures involved in the civil rights movement. Among those speaking was a gentleman who was a former member of the Black Panther Party, what I found interesting was the abundance of community projects and programs (some still in existence today) that this group in correlation with other multicultural groups started. I share with you a part of history that has been brushed to the side. A time in history where people of different backgrounds worked together for a common cause.
