Definition of Love

The dictionary definition of love is describe as having an intense feeling of deep affection for someone or something. But as I get older I am learning that in other people's view love may mean something totally different. One night my cousin had a real talk mixer, for those who don't know what a real talk mixer is let me explain, it's basically a small gathering of both female and male brought together to discuss issues relating to love, marriage, sex etc. and of course there are drinks involved because you know what they say liquor is the "truth serum". During one real talk session I posed the question what your personal definition of love? as we went around the room everyone had there own personal definition love some answers consisted of communication, trust and loyalty. So ask of you what is your personal definition of love?

Civil Rights and Multicultural Cooperation

As I was channel suffering this past Saturday morning I came across this interesting panel, discussing the different cultures involved in the civil rights movement. Among those speaking was a gentleman who was a former member of the Black Panther Party, what I found interesting was the abundance of community projects and programs (some still in existence today) that this group in correlation with other multicultural groups started. I share with you a part of history that has been brushed to the side.
